Digital Strategy & Project Consultant
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Digital Strategy & Project Consultant (m/f/d) who will play a key role as the interface between internal teams, external partners, and client projects. In this position, you will work directly on client projects, take on operational tasks, and simultaneously build trusted client relationships to uncover and develop new opportunities for collaboration. You will drive digital projects forward, manage requirements, and create innovative solutions in a dynamic environment. Several years of professional experience in a comparable role is essential.
Your Responsibilities
Direct Involvement in Client Projects:
- Take responsibility for the successful execution of client projects from day one.
- Oversee and coordinate project activities in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, fostering trust and sustainable partnerships.
- Identify business opportunities and develop new avenues for collaboration.
- Ensure smooth project initiation and progress, tailored to client needs and expectations.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to advance and optimize digital platforms.
- Ensure functionality, security, performance, and user-friendliness of digital solutions.
- Analyze and prioritize requirements, risks, and dependencies to support informed decision-making.
- Define and establish standards and best practices for project governance and execution.
- Promote innovation by providing strategic advice and technological insights.
Project Management and Coordination:
- Plan, manage, and monitor projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Establish effective structures, processes, and communication pathways among all stakeholders.
- Create and maintain project plans, milestones, and progress reports.
- Facilitate and coordinate project meetings and workshops.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.
Requirements Management:
- Collect, analyze, and document requirements from business units and clients in a structured manner.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa.
- Develop clear and concise briefings for internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure traceability and transparency of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the validation and prioritization of requirements in alignment with strategic objectives.
Client-Focused Consulting:
- Advise clients on the development and implementation of innovative solutions for digital challenges.
- Identify and nurture opportunities to expand collaboration with existing clients.
- Proactively support complex problem-solving with creative and pragmatic approaches.
- Share best practices and facilitate knowledge transfer to empower clients in the long term.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business objectives and challenges.
Partner and Stakeholder Management:
- Shape and manage collaboration with external service providers, agencies, and partners.
- Ensure transparent communication and alignment with project goals.
- Develop and implement clear communication models and decision-making pathways.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to enable effective collaboration.
- Conduct regular feedback and review sessions to continuously improve partnerships.
Documentation and Diligence:
- Create and maintain comprehensive, structured, and transparent project documentation.
- Ensure all decision-making processes, agreements, and implementations are meticulously documented.
- Develop and maintain clear records of decision-making processes to guarantee long-term quality assurance.
- Prepare clear and accessible documentation for internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Promote a culture of diligence and precision to meet the highest standards in handling sensitive information and complex projects.
Tenders and Selection Processes:
- Prepare tender documents and briefings for selecting new partners or service providers.
- Develop evaluation models and conduct structured selection processes.
- Ensure solutions meet both operational and strategic requirements.
- Coordinate and moderate presentations and negotiations with potential partners.
- Support contract development and define clear service-level agreements.
Governance and Optimization:
- Develop and implement steering mechanisms and reporting structures.
- Continuously identify opportunities for optimizing processes and workflows.
- Ensure smooth project execution through monitoring and regular progress checks.
- Foster a sustainable project culture by introducing agile methods and best practices.
- Build and maintain an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
Your Profile
Experience and Expertise:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role, such as Digital Consultant, Project Manager, or as a bridge between business and external partners.
- Proven success in managing and implementing complex digital projects and building strong client relationships.
- Familiarity with modern digital technologies and their application in a business context.
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches.
- Strong capability in building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Analytical and Conceptual Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex scenarios and develop pragmatic solutions.
- Experience in prioritizing tasks and crafting strategic approaches.
- Structured and solution-oriented working style, even under pressure.
- Understanding of business and technical requirements and their interdependencies.

Communication and Consulting Skills:
